Have-A-Go Shakespeare – from the comfort of your own home

We currently have a couple of spaces available in our friendly online Have-A-Go Shakespeare sessions – a relaxed and enjoyable way to explore Shakespeare, wherever you are.

The sessions are led by our experienced associate Anna “Acorn” Malzy, a teacher and Shakespeare practitioner based in France. Anna has been immersed in Shakespeare from an early age, first falling in love with the plays when she appeared as one of Titania’s fairies at the age of ten.

These workshops are open to all and offer a supportive, informal space to try out Shakespeare’s language, explore characters, and discuss the themes of the plays in both their historical and modern contexts. The emphasis is on curiosity, enjoyment, and shared discovery – not performance pressure.

Sessions take place weekly on Wednesday afternoons and last 90 minutes. The cost is £7.50 per session, paid in blocks of six, with a free taster session for new participants.

All welcome – no previous experience necessary.
