Volunteers are at the heart of everything at Shakespeare Link. There are opportunities to:

  • Work on the Front of House and catering at events

  • help maintain the site, willow and nature trail

  • Promote our work by being our ambassadors and distributing programmes and brochures across Powys and border counties.

  • Support our administrative staff with a range of tasks.

We are also exploring the feasibility of a lift share scheme which would both reduce the environmental impact of travelling to events and support people to come to events who don’t drive. This could be another possible volunteering opportunity.

In exchange for your hard work you will become part of a friendly and supportive team, build skills, make friends and help maintain and development all of our Charities work for the benefit of all who engage with us.

At the heart of Shakespeare Link's work, there is a passion for bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to explore and enjoy these amazing plays.

Shakespeare Link was founded in 1992 by Artistic Directors Susanna Best and Philip Bowen, whose extensive professional experience in theatre includes years with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the English Shakespeare Company, the Royal Opera House and the Old Vic. The Company has had charitable status since 1994.
