The Decibelles have a fantstic local following. We have been trying to book them  for 2 years now and are delighted to have found a date that works!

The Decibelles are an a-cappella ladies singing ensemble based in Hay-on-Wye.  Singing music from a wide variety of genres including some light classical, folk, world, jazz, Andrews Sisters style and pop they guarantee to bring a smile.

Fiona Evans will be running an exciting and inspiring workshop during the day around the Willow Way nature trail which we highly recommend. 

Fiona Evans has spent much of her professional career travelling all around the world singing with various small consorts and ensembles like The Sixteen, and Tallis Scholars, and singing on movie soundtracks including Da Vinci Code, Die Another Day and Chicken Run. More recently, Fiona’s attention has been turned to running community choirs and leading workshops throughout the country. Fiona runs Hay Community Choir, Hay Shantymen, two choirs in Devon and Decibelles as well as running music and arts workshops at their home just outside Hay on Wye.
